Parkway Pharmacy East opened in 2024 at 8095 AL-69 in Guntersville, directly across from Marshall Medical Center North. We built this store for the way the eastern half of Marshall County actually uses a pharmacy, short waits, real pharmacists, and a compounding lab on site so the prescriptions chain stores send out of town can be filled where you live. Discharge prescriptions from the hospital across the street are typically ready before patients finish the drive home. The drive-thru window moves quickly. The gift shop carries local Alabama goods you won't find at the chains. And the counter is staffed by people who have lived in Marshall County most of their lives.
If you've used the original Parkway South in Arab, the experience here is exactly what you expect, same family, same standards, just located closer to Guntersville, Albertville, Boaz, and the eastern reaches of the county. If you're new to Parkway, the simplest way to start is to bring your bottles (or just the names of your medications) and your insurance card. We'll handle the transfer paperwork directly with your previous pharmacy, set you up with the Rx365 app if you'd like, and have your first refills ready the same day for most medications.
We coordinate with most prescribers in the area, accept the major insurance plans, and welcome walk-in immunizations during business hours. Compounding patients are encouraged to call ahead so we can give an honest time estimate on your specific formulation.
